those fi subs look pretty beast. do you think they'll work ok with my amp? it's a rf p500 btw.

and what's the difference in those subs? i see a lot of numbers that don't mean anything to me. excuse the noobiness but i usually buy pretty much off the shelf stuff.

Should be okay...The best part about it,,,Is with the ssd's if you want to go louder later on with a bigger amp, You wont need to change woofers

are they straight spl subs? i don't compete ever and i'm not trying to beat down the block. i just like my music a little louder than the average person but i need it to sound pretty good as well. sound quality is as important as volume to me.

and which model in particular would you recommend?

The SSDs are the lower line FI's 4 steps down from the BTL...And A lot of people can back me up when I say you will be Happy with FI.Best Bang for the buck, Scott is kinda hard to get a hold of but the speakers are BADASS. DC is also a AWSOME company...Try Looking at the Level 1s From DCSOUNDLABS.com Talk to Rusty..He's a Bomb guy too.....Gets back to you quick

I think you would be amazed what a DD1508 ported and tuned to 40hz sounds like. Especially with your music tastes. I implore you to try it. Build your own box.
