MTX J30 Posted March 5, 2009 Report Posted March 5, 2009 my friend has stock speakers, stock tweeters, and 2 kicker subs with a kicker 300 amp. i'm not sure what are the exact subs he has. and its all in an 06 sentra. if he added a new head unit what would it improve. would it improve the bass or the sq at all. his HU right now is some sort of stock rocksford fosgate HU. Once or twice I have missed having a back seat / rear hatch, but all in all people love to see a walled vehcile. It just screams "i'm not fucking around with my setup, im loud"

Even for being a stock H/U the RF ones are fairly nice. You're really not going to see a whole lot of difference with a new headunit. He'd be better off buying an EQ or for that matter a RF 360.1 or 360.2 AlphaDamp Sound Deadening CDL Mat - The best Vibration Damper Ever! I'd hit that so fucking hard whoever pulled me out would be King of England. Lol... looks like we were on the same page. Car-B-Ques suck.ya, tires and paint burning make the marshmallows taste funny.

And it can stop the overall bass but not just to the speakers... if you want to block bass from the speakers buy Bass blockers.. They wire right up to the speakers and to the wires.
