rollin Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 I got a question for ya. I want to mount some pumps in a remote location where a pump rack cant be made to attach to the frame. So I was thinkin of mounting them to some flat bar and then running a run or two of 0 gauge to the frame. will this work? is there enough ground for the pumps doing this or am I going about this wrong? I talked to Armin from pro hopper and he had no idea. and since I chrome plated the blocks I dont want to mess them up with a ground spark. *1LOWSUV* Posted March 12, 2009 Report Posted March 12, 2009 As long as your ground to the frame is solid (1-2 runds 0 gauge) you should be fine...expect the arc flash the first time you hit the switch but other then that as long as your block and where the ground wire would attach are clean (No paint/wire brushed) you will be fine. Had to do this yaers ago with one of theose "K" cars..Uni-body so had to ground to the engine block. : Quote [email protected]
