Running Out Of Time!

ok well March 29th will be my first competition and i want to make the most out of it!

well I will be attending the midwest spl event at mach 1 audio in washington missouri... big prob is sometime my amp goes into protect

now it hasnt yet on push that nigga push that hoe which is what i will be usin for the 3 min kaos run so................

i have the batt in back grounded to metal basically under this plastic peace... should i find a bolt and sand it and matel down very good until shiny and use that??

Judging by your name id assume you have an explorer? Run the battery ground through the floor and bolt it to the frame. That will help a lot.

You can see the hole in the floorboard right above the cleaned spot where my battery ground is bolted too.

Don't use an existing bolt, take some steel wool and get where you are grounding to be bare metal, no paint. Before you drill, make sure you don't put a bolt into the gas tank, spare tire, fuel lines, or brake lines.

Take the carpet up, and use the steel wool to get bare metal. DO NOT USE AN EXISTING BOLT. Use a self tapping screw, and I would use a screw with a Phillips and also a bolt pattern on it. Ya dig?

I put up 2 pics for ya. Best thing is to put a rubber grommet around the hole. You can pick them up at any hardware store, just pick one up that the 1/0 or whatever your wire size will fit through, look at the hole size for it and drill a hole that big and you should be set.
