rumproast789
It doesn't look like 5" away from the back of the box. Creyc is right. The actual length of your port(using the 2nd of the 2 sketches) is 29.25" long. oh wait, let me see. I know its 5 inches high from the top, i thought it was 5 inches to the back from the top of the port.. Hold on. Okay. That pic of the port inside the box i posted is not the updated one. I cut off about an inch I thought, but yeah that would only leave 4.5". Looked right with a tape measurer. So IDK I guess I'm just not too sure. I might just have to redo the entire port... IDK how tho, Id have to rip the tops off... Nvm, I can't do that, I have to make due with the port how it is now, and wiat till later to rebuild the box. Is it still possible to tell the tuning of it? rumproast789
bump? bump, I am going to carpet this if the tuning is pretty close to what it was supposed to be, if not, I'm going to rebuild it later and not carpet it... amazinblazin10
get some sine sweeps and do some and try and listen to where it peaks idk? you can probably estimate it's tuning by that.. Ya i'd probably not be too good with that, but if it comes down to it I'll try. I'm sure someone can figure it out, I'm hoping that is lol. raytard
so you made your port smaller and longer...both of which drop tuning but i think you did somethign wrong somewhere, 7cubic feet net, 20.5x5 port, 21 long, gives approx 38hz tuning Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
