Amp Problem

Alright so my amp keeps going into protect if I turn the volume up to a certain level. I have had a few people tell me some things on what it may be, but I am just not sure. And I would like to get any of your oppinions. And also my sub is not bridged. When the volume is down low it is just fine, but when its turned up the amp goes straight into protect then will kick back on, hit and go back into protect. My radio goes to volume 34, and I usually have to keep it at 25 if I go any volume over it will do this. I have:

• Power Acoustik PW3 15
  
• 2600W max
  
• 900W RMS
  
• Sony CDX GT200 - radio / CD / MP3 player
  
• Legacy - 2400 Watt 2 Channel Bridgeable MOSFET Amplifier
  
• Scosche 500k micro farad
  
• 2g welding wire for the power and ground (Told this works fine)
  

If anyone can help I would really appriciate it. And its all bought new.
