buxton Posted March 20, 2009 Report Share Posted March 20, 2009 i have had 2 different woofers kicker cvt 10's and cvr 12's in a downfire box in my extended cab gmc sierra i got rid of them because they didn produce what i wanted to hear the 10's didnt hit low enough i don know if it makes a difference being shallow mount or not but i prefer 12's and the cvr jus was not enough bass i am looking at the new kicker solo classic and the rf p3 shallow but i jus want to know how to get the loudest bass out of a downfire box and whether or not shallow mount makes a difference in the highs and lows the sub hits so anyone who might have an answer please help 2000 toyota tacoma ext. cab JVC AH-59 head unit knukonceptz 4ga kolossus Amp kit hifonics brutus 1200D 2 Kicker CVR 12 prefab vented enclosure Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
