camino_1to3
I'm running alittle over 10kw and I hate it!!!! I hate getting in the car and haveing to worry about my voltage, and having to throw the batteries on a chrager everyonce and a while.I would say ~1500w rms to bass 75w a speaker. I did an install with 2 12" re se's, on an xt-4000d, with 2 sets of orion cobalt door speakers with a 400w soundstream high amp. And that is just about perfect. Loud enough to impress some people, with out having to worry about batts, alts, tons of 1/0 runs. pics? Kicker Guy
In all honesty just for a good daily system thats not outrageous butstill get loud all u really need is 1000rms goin to whatever you want for subs and about 200-400rms on mids/highs and youll be straight Best answer in this thread. You would be amazed how loud 1,000 watts truly is if done right. lowblueranger
I agree with Eric B and Kicker Guy- you only need 1000 watts on subs and 200-400 on mids and highs for a daily driver all this other talk is just rediculus, he didn't ask what is the biggest baddest system or how much stuff can you fit in your ride. Symmetry9898
Thanks for all of the input, and also thanks for not flaming me out with the dreaded "search button" screams. I just like to hear peoples opinions and see how they differ from mine. raytard
x2 on the 1000ish watts of subs and like 75-100watts to interiors much more and you have to start doing batts/0g/alt/etc everyone here with like 5kw daily drivers will probably admit its a lot of hassle unless you really love really loud music Quote Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now) Team DC
