Looking at your choices are you doing something infinite baffle? If so Comp would be my choice for under say 100 watts but if its more than that I would go IB3. Either one does go IB but the kicker can't take much power. If you are using a box neither choice is good IMO.

The rear wave also causes cancellation. 4th order ftw.

What is your opinion on "daily" 4k is a lot for any sub all day.

From what I was told by an employee they did it so you could run 3 subs and have a normal load. 3 12 ohm subs is 4 ohm.

Not sure why DAT is on your list when you said Sundown was over priced, so is DAT. Stetsom and SD are great choices. Cactus and Atomic is decent choices too.

You are catching on, stupid questions get stupid answers. These VS threads are getting to be too much. The fact is no one can answer them simply because subs act diffrent in different vehicles and enclosures. Someday people will understand the enclosure is much more important then the sub being used. Just because 1 company is "mainstream" and the other is "internet based" doesn't make one better or worse. Personally I could give a shit less if I can call the owner, as long as I am taken care of it doesn't matter to me.
