When painting a box you will need to do a couple of things. You will want to fill in the screw holes and uneven wood holes, and sand down smooth. I use a primer on my boxes before i paint them just as an added step but I do not know if it is needed. I prefer to use the textured spray paint, it comes in a variety of colors and also helps out with the box moving around in trunk.

I thought i had more pictures of the paint process on this box. Oh well :unknw:

nice. little man finished. i haven't been on in a while. gotta go check out this build log.

i personally use wrinkle paint. its in a spray can, covers wood very well, its cheap, and the finished product looks like rhino liner without the cost.

the sides are carpeted but the top is painted with wrinkle paint.
