ben29555 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 sometimes when im playing music my amp will turn off then on the protect light will be on then it will go back to normal and once it was off for probly 20inutes before it came back on. bennett15 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 make sure all wires are secure to the amp and check subs wiring make sure ohm load is correct set gains with dmm if possible. bennett15 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 it sounds like your cliping it and its going into thermal protection. so it wont come out of protection until it cools back down. does it ever feel warm to the touch when it does this?
