96saturnsl
If i made a box for 2 subs. had them in the trunk of a car and faced one pointed up in the enclosure and one pointed towards the rear of the car....would there be any cancellation problems? rawlins87
I've had cancellation issuses facing up (toward the trunk) and also if the box is almost the size of the trunk i would fire forward into the cab because ive had issuse facing the rear. but if its a decent size and wont abstruck the whole trunk just fire it rearward
96saturnsl
if i could id fire both up or both the same direction. but i dont have the space to have both of them side by side....which is why i was wondering if it would cause any cancellation. loganuf
sry about the late response. it could cause cancellation. hard to know without seeing exactly what ur box looks like. mbaty1
well... just not enough info to go on here.... Do you have the ability to draw a sketch of the box that you have in mind so others can have a visual of how it would look when constructed? There are ways to not get cancellation (if there are partition/walls nlocking part of the trunk) and then some setups have crazy cancellation. All depends on the setup, obstructions that would redirect the sound waves, dampening materials to absorb some/certain freq's, etc....
