Wireing Multiple Batteries?

Ok well i just wanna know, to wire 2 battery together, in my car,

2 optima yellow tops, i have one already installed, do i just run to wires off the POSITIVE and NEGITIVE to the + - of the preinstalled one, and run a second ground off of my 2nd battery that im putting in????

,like anyone else should

but im saying should i run a ground of the second batt and just the positive to postive, OR

run positive to postive, neg to neg and a ground off each battery??

I dont see the point it running ground wires to the rear of the car. Its a waste of wire and time in my opinion. A ground in the back is just as good as a ground in the front. Make sure its a nice solid ground to the rear frame of the car with a bolt. Be sure to polish the paint off until you see bare metal as well.

THIS IS FOR A BATTERIES TO POWER THE AMPS, not the main under the hood,

so

WHEN I WIRE 2 OR MORE BATTERIES, IN THE REAR OF MY CAR, FOR MORE AMP POWER,

DO I GROUND EACH BATTERY? AND HAVE

NEG to NEG

POS to POS

or

just POS to POS with each batt grounded?
