hoppinAltima Posted April 1, 2009 Report Share Posted April 1, 2009 I recently put a new pioneer headunit in for a friend.. and when i fist put it in and start the car it didnt come on till i pushed a button. But after that it would start up when the car does. The problem now is that the setting are being cleared everytime the car and headunit is turned off. Does anyone know why this is doing this? brewer_brewer Posted April 3, 2009 Report Share Posted April 3, 2009 sounds like your 12 volt constant off the headunit is wired up to your ignition. should be wired up to the 12 volt constant from headunit to 12 volt from car.
