Chrisn077
It most likely is something to do with comcast but you can try unplugging your router and modem for 15 secs then plug it back in. If you dont have a router just do it to the modem. If that doesn't fix the problem I would call comcast. Quote 18" DC Level
G_Fresh
Check to make sure your drivers for your NIC are all up-to-date. Turn off your pc, and modem for 15-20 min for a refresh from you to comcast. Turn your modem on first, wait for all lights to come back on, then turn your pc back on. Try running a virus, spyware, malware check. Those could be messing with your internet too. If those don't work, contact comcast..

When it cuts out are you getting "Limited or no connectivity"? That most likely will fix it then. If there are multiple nodes on your network, check for an IP conflict. There is a DOS procedure for renewing your ip in this case... Open DOS, type "ipconfig /release" then after it's done type "ipconfig /renew" If this doesn't fix it, see if there's an outage in your area. (i.e. call Comcast ) Quote Need an install? bossgator
actually it started fucking up today and the comcast guy came.. the wire in the power lines became loose.. he put a new one up, gave us a new modem and a new cable box bc we were also not getting on demand like we supposed to.. but it all works fine now.
