My Alpines smell a bit, but it's not death smell...unfortunately I am all too familiar with that (and the fact that pulling a roasted sub out of a box while in your room means that smell will be there for MONTHS! *gag*) and its not the same smell. Idunno how to describe it...anyone got a clue? They are an older gen, so they've got some playtime on them...They're not being overpowered, theyre getting like 175wRMS a channel out of a rated 300...amp isnt clipping...I'm running out of ideas, unless its just their time to go...but they don't sound bad, that's what's getting me... Too many projects, too little time...
