Many of you have asked where the eff the forums are... well, they're here, kind of -- just not done. Why aren't they done? Well, because we've got a crap load of artists and DJs uploading their mixtapes and videos. What this means is that we're always racing against the clock to keep our bandwidth and storage space up to par for new content to be uploaded. To date, this has prevented us from focusing on new features to the site, hopefully, that is no more. We've begun work on a new solution that'll allow us to keep adding space easily and with zero interruption to the site. That solution is still about a month or so away however, so in the meantime we continue to have to put temporary solutions in place. Usually our work is done in a manner where no one really notices it's going on... however, today we're doing a change that requires us to disable all mixtape and video uploading and editing. We are also required to prevent new user registrations and avatar editing. This should last just for the day, and we're sorry that this time around our work couldn't be less-intrusive -- but there IS a good side to this all. Since our work won't really affect downloads, for the duration of this "downtime", we'll be opening up the servers for unlimtied downloads for both Premium and Basic users. Take it as an apology for any inconvenience these changes will cause. Happy Downloading P.S. we're as eager to launch the community as you guys are, but they'll be worthless if we don't focus on our infrastructure first.
