bluethunder Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 i was just wondering how to increase the volume without turning my hpf up to like 80hz-100hz. this is due to speakers popping. i have the polk momo 6.5's running off of an alpine f250 bridged pushing around 85-95 watts to each speaker in a almost completely sealed door. i already removed the tweeter and mounted on the a pillar and no its not pointed at my ear. any suggestions would be apreciated
Guest KyleCannon Posted May 6, 2009 Report Posted May 6, 2009 Getting a line driver helps increase the volume of the speakers. Also increases the clarity. I used to have that amplifier and i used to have the same problem. So... line driver for clarity and to play it a little louder without distortion... and get a better amplifier if you want more headroom on how much you want it to play louder as well.
