BEllithorpe04
Hey guys, i only got one response from my other post, so i was hoping to get some feedback on this one. Well I'm starting a new box, i have the bottom cut for it already, but I have a problem. Re's website box designer says that a box that is 32 wide, 34 deep, and 15 tall is 5.027 cu. ft. but then 12volt.com says that the box is 7.7 cu. ft. and 6.7 with the displacement of the port. Re also says that the box with a 13.5 wide, 9 high and 23.5 deep would tune the box to 38 Hz, Then when i go to 12volt is says that a port that is 6x13.5x23 would tune it to 38 Hz. I've normally rushed my boxes and this one is for 4 12" kicker CVR's 4 ohm DVC and I want to double baffle the top fiberglass the inside and 45 the corners, and fleckstone the entire outside. I just need some help from the guys on here because I'm good with everything but the math part lol I can do it but it takes me a while, its already taken me a week to figure this one out, I'm no dumbass though don't judge me off that Thanks guys Brian 1997 Pontiac Bonneville Black on Black on Black 15" DC Sound Labs Level 5 w/ quad coil in a T-Line tuned to 35 hz 7" Jensen VM9311TS Touch Screen Flip Out w/ J-Link Blue Custom Trim Blue Custom Fiberglass Rear Speaker Pods Autotek Mean Machine MM2000.1 1/0 Knukonceptz KLMX Rockford Fosgate Twisted RCA's 2 Audiopipe Anl fuse holders w/ 200A Kicker fuses 2nd battery (Soon to be an Odyssey D3100) Dynamat Extreme Bulk Pack Custom False Floor 15% Tint All Around Custom Painted Stock Rims My Build Log Tailights 15" Lvl 5 DC T-Line Build

brewer_brewer
to calculate area do this: length X width X height = ( ) divided by 1728 REFS http://www.caraudioclassifieds.org/forum/itrader.php?u=2026 http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/topic/44535-official-brewer-brewer-feedback/page__p__625998__hl__brewer__fromsearch__1entry625998 "you're not allowing natural selection to work, you're like the guy that invented the seatbelt"
keitare
go with the 12 volt calculator. much more accurate.i use this one though. http://www.carstereo.com/help/Articles.cfm?id=31 i did that one for a round port 4 inch with 2 ports with a volume of 3.22 and tuned to 30 the lenght it put was 20.45 would i divide that by two or does it do that already for you Subs are like titties, They need to come in pairs because ones and threes are just wrong, and larger amounts will always draw a crowd, we all have our favorite sizes, but the bigger ones are more fun to watch move. Words to live by.
BEllithorpe04
thanks for the quick replies guys, i multiplied and divided by 1728 and it came out to 9.4 cubes but thats before displacement. and i think im going with the 6x13.5x23 for the port. hopefully this all sounds good brewer brewer thanks for the websites 1997 Pontiac Bonneville Black on Black on Black 15" DC Sound Labs Level 5 w/ quad coil in a T-Line tuned to 35 hz 7" Jensen VM9311TS Touch Screen Flip Out w/ J-Link Blue Custom Trim Blue Custom Fiberglass Rear Speaker Pods Autotek Mean Machine MM2000.1 1/0 Knukonceptz KLMX Rockford Fosgate Twisted RCA's 2 Audiopipe Anl fuse holders w/ 200A Kicker fuses 2nd battery (Soon to be an Odyssey D3100) Dynamat Extreme Bulk Pack Custom False Floor 15% Tint All Around Custom Painted Stock Rims My Build Log Tailights 15" Lvl 5 DC T-Line Build
