Hey guys new to the forum. So I'll put a little info aobut me on here. Im 17 live in maine Just sent out for my license last wensday. So I bought my truck last november for $1000. I bought it and it was bone stock except for the crap hub caps on it. I started out with getting my subs first. My cousin gave me these subs for free just for helping him with his vehicle's. There 2 MTX thunder 4000 12". In a sealed box made by mtx for these subs so it sounds very clean but loud. I got Holley intake manifold, A V8 throttle body off of a 5.2l dakota. (Mines a 3.9l magnum mated with a 5spd). I put a Flowtech exhaust with a 2.5" Turn down. I put a new light wieght fly wheel new pressure plate and New clutch. Shifting time was .4 of a second quicker. (I know some of you may think this performance stuff is boring but its a sleeper truck). Its got a Limited Slip rear end. Around christmas time when I knew I'd have some extra money I went out and bought a Jensen UV8 DvD,cd, navi, Touch screen head unit. I Bought a intake setup for a 99 Dakota r/t. Throttle response was improved. New brass coil cover and 8" spark plug wires. I cleaned up the engine bay Bought my amp (just a small sony xplode 1000 watt) And I wired my subs up with 4 gauge Wire. I Installed white gauges a Hurst T-handle shifter knob. A Air fuel mixture ratio Gauge. And High flow cat. And than I bought my parts truck. On the parts truck it matched the color of my trukc spot on. And it had rims that I wanted A bed liner and a new hood. (My hood the paint was peeling). And I only paid $100 for the parts truck. So Here is my truck will little update pictures. Not all of them but some. Btw My truck went from 175hp to 260whp and 288lbs of torque. Not much but it wieghs less than an every day truck and makes more Hp to the wheel. Ok So I know this is a Spl forum so heres the the goodies you guys will like. Subs are wired down to 2 ohms. And thier 4 ohm subs but they have taken that 800watt load on 400 watt subs for 2 weeks now. Front speakers are just regular 5.25" pioneers and rear are 6x9 sony xplodes. But Im hitting 147db's on the dash with windows down and thats not a burp but with some young jeezy Hypnotized playing. So here are the pictures. I know not a looker but its fast as hell and loud as hell. 0-60 in 5.3 seconds.
