mtxcivic07 Posted March 8, 2007 Report Share Posted March 8, 2007 I need help with port area for this box. The maximum outside dimensions are 15" height x 42" width x 22" depth. Using 3/4" MDF that will give me roughly 6.486 cubic feet internal volume. The box will be made for (3) 12" JL W3v3 4-ohm subwoofers powered by an MTX 7801 @ about 1300 watts. I want it to be tuned to 30 hz. It will be placed in a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 4x4. I drew this quick sketch up in paint to give you guys a basic idea of what i would like it to be like. please let me know how much port area will be needed for this enclosure.
