Mentality Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 I'd run it off of the amp or have a relay to switch between the amp and the battery to see if your amp is getting proper voltage. I don't know it just sounds like something I'd like to have done
raytard Posted May 26, 2009 Report Posted May 26, 2009 if you have rear bats/busbars, run it to that if not, run it to the front batt you want a "source" of power, not a "suck" of power....running to the h/u will just tell you how much voltage is in that little 18guage line in your dash, not what the source, i.e. battery, has available same thing with the amp, it may drop alot or do some funky stuff at the terminal, while the batteries stay constant.
