run them to the source pulling the most voltage ie:your amps or distribution block..or straight to battery

if you have rear bats/busbars, run it to that

if not, run it to the front batt

you want a "source" of power, not a "suck" of power....running to the h/u will just tell you how much voltage is in that little 18guage line in your dash, not what the source, i.e. battery, has available

same thing with the amp, it may drop alot or do some funky stuff at the terminal, while the batteries stay constant.
