white4d96 Posted June 7, 2009 Author Report Posted June 7, 2009 Run the footwell lights off of your parking light circuit. ...Now THAT'S an idea! I will definitely have to try that! As for interior, it's 'I'm boring' grey. I tried just hooking up some little 'mood lights' i found that were colored that fit in the footwell light slots from the factory (that are wired in with the dome lights) and red looks like crap IMO, running the blues for now (they were $2 a pair at the parts store), but ran into another issue posted on another thread. Does anyone have any pics of their footwell setups that they could post? Quote Too many projects, too little time...
Gibbs Posted June 7, 2009 Report Posted June 7, 2009 (edited) I'll got red to match the my dash lights/gauges. I think it worked out nice. I'd say go with red just so it matches the interior lighting that is already there, looks cleaner that way. Front Back Edit: sorry missed your post above mine lol. red looks pretty good i would say. My set wasn't a $2 set though. Goes back to the "you get what you pay for" saying. Shop around on ebay. That's where I got mine. If I see them again I'll pm the link. I don't have pics of it but I changed my dome light and glovebox light too to some red LED cubes. 9 LEDs in the dome and 4 in the glove. If you want I can take pics of those too. white4d96 Posted June 7, 2009 Author Report Posted June 7, 2009 Definitely lights up a lot nicer than mine did; then again, mine were basically just the 194 bulbs with a color coating on them lol. Did your LEDs come as a plug-and-play setup? If not, what kind of prep work is needed to hook them up? Quote Too many projects, too little time...

I cheated and have it running off of the amp lol. easy 12v supply and ground right there. what I would love to do is eventually splice it into the 12v supply for the headlights, that way it comes on when I turn on the head lights.
