I say drop em to 2 ohms... Grab a Multimeter and set your gains(I doubt you have a Oscope). play a 50hz tone on repeat at around 80% volume(Speakers disconnected of coarse) and probes on the (+) &(-) of the amp, Set the multimeter to A/C VOLTS and set you gains so the meter reads about 40V.. thats roughly 800 watts.. then play with the settings on the deck until everything sounds clean....

Then give the boys at SMD a VID

I am still running every thing at 4ohms in the vid I have sence then dropped it to 2 ohms and set the gains and it is ever louder with more flex!!!

were the gains far off from what you originally had em set 2?

no not really these amps are weak though runing them at 2 ohms they get really hot if your pounding on them. I already want to up grade cause these sonys will take your breath when you are in it and makes every thing move so I can just imagin what good subs and a good amp will do
