Need The Right Port

my box is 41''w--16''tall--23''deep--i think thats like 7.6cf---this is the outside of the box--i need the specks--for a good port for this box -tuneing in the -30hz-to-35hz-----it is for my 98explorer--will have 2--15'' custom built subs in it---any help would be very nice---------subs up port back-----tell me what you come up with--

can you make the box any bigger

thats kind small after displacement... its less than 6cuft

and what do u mean by custom, what are they based on/off of

with said dimensions i can only get it to 6cuft@35hz w/72.5sqin port

id like to see 7cuft@32 w/100sqin, but it depends on the subs in question

this is the specks-on the subs--QTS-0.48--QES-0.53--VAS-2.634--FS-30hz--RE-1.5--XMAX LINEAR--26mm--XMAX-36mm---SPL-90db-1w/1m---BL-19.1----PE-1800 rms-----thay use the same basket as the --AB-VFL-15'' SUB WITH NEW SOFT PARTS FROM --FI--- AND A COUSTOM 4.5'' COILES - I PAID A LOT FOR THE SUBS HOW THAY SLAM HARD----I CAN DO LIKE-41''W--18''TALL--25''DEEP--ALL OUTSIDE MEASUREMENTS THATS ALL I HAVE STILL HAVE TO DO AMPRACK

top + bottom = 41 x 25

left = 24.25 x 16.5 (outside port wall)

right = 23.5 x 16.5

back = 41 x 16.5

front = 31.25 x 16.5

port wall = 17.5

add a 45degree ~4-6" in the back left corner to better define the port... and anywhere else just use resin or 2-4" 45degree

personally id add a second baffle

and id also resin/mat the inside, especially the outside port wall since its not easy to brace it without disrupting air flow

1"+ dowel rods are great cheap bracing

o yeah and the red lines and dots are just suggested spots for bracing

is that all u need?

can you do it with the port in the center so i can brace the port better and i would like the subs up and port back--how much power do you think i will need to put on the subs---thanks alot for all your time and help
