FiBTLforlife Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 im getting ready to build my box for my single cab truck and dont know what type port i should use for the box. im trying to save as much cuft at possible so if i can get a port design with limited length that would help me out allot. im running a AQ15'' HDC3 and have no clue on what to do. was thinking of a square port or circle port to cut down on using up so much of the box volume. but yall guys know more about this that me so thought i let yall decide. box is going to be 3.5cuft at 32hz preferably and where the port is going to go i will have 9'' TD 10" BD and about 57'' lengh to work with just so u know. would like to do a port like steve did with his box but not sure if i can or not, thats were yall come in lol this is what the box will look like, pretty much like my old one for the Fi12bl but its going to have little more in depth than this one, but u can see were the port side of the box is, so thats what im working with...this box has just the standard port and it took up a good amount of cuft mike :hairtrick: 2 AQ 10'' HDC3 copper subs 1 3500d AQ amp 146.3db on TL with stock electrical in single cab truck at 32hz RESULT: 1st place at comp, 3rd overall out of 20 cars
