Jcoleman134 Posted June 9, 2009 Report Posted June 9, 2009 I'm looking for new struts for my car. i lowered my car a good bit and I'm riding on stock struts because they were only 6 months old so i wanted to get some use out of them. well as of right now i couldn't go any lower as I'm sitting on bump stops. and that's after they've been cut. and if i take off the bump stops I'm pretty much sitting on the strut body. Now i have a 2000 Chevy Malibu and they don't make too much for lowering this car. and if i get new struts will they still be the same length as my struts now? could i cut the strut body above the coil seat because that's where it seems to be bottoming out on my stock struts. Any info would be great. heres a picture of how low i am now. Quote
