Florida heat Posted June 19, 2009 Author Report Share Posted June 19, 2009 you should just search "capacitors", ull get some interesting talk about em well i have. from what i understand (i think) its 1 farad for every thousand watts. but can you have a capacitor thats rated for a bigger charge than our amp needs . for ex. if you have a 3k watt amp, can you run a 5 farad capacitor? BrownRice Posted June 19, 2009 Report Share Posted June 19, 2009 yeah u can go as big as u want, like i said i have a 40... fuckn huge. some ppl just HATE cap's, but to each their own, i got nothing against them and ill use the one i already have, i probably wont buy any in the future, but ill use it since i have it. but if ur gonna spend like 100+ on a cap, just get another battery man u might not be able to afford high end batteries but even another small regular battery should be ok?
