Low n Loud
just picked up the wood and all materials today. now i just need to find out how big to build this thing. the recommendation for the 18" BTL is 5-8cuft. i want it somewhere near the 8cuft mark. can someone tell me if im right with my calculations. 22"(L)x22"(H)x34"(W)=9.52cuft. now my port is going to be 6" wide and 20.5" tall and 23" long (tuning it to 35hz). so the port displaces 1.64cuft. So i took the 9.52 - 1.64 = 7.88cuft. and thats the volume of my box. if someone can tell me if im doing this all wrong please tell me. thank you, chris

Low n Loud
what vehicle is this going in? 2000 jeep cherokee, i want to keep my spair tire that is pinned on the left sde of my trunk, so my max dimensions are 34" long, my trunk only is 26" deep (i dont wanna put the port 1 inch from the back) and i still want to be able to see out my back window so im trying to not go much higher then my rear bench seat. Kicker Guy
well if you go 25.5 H instead of 22 then you get 7.27 which is pretty close and you could still see Head Unit: Pioneer DEH-P6000UB Sub Amp:American Bass VFL 500.1 Subs: 4 Fi BL 18's Enclosure:21.5 Cubic foot flat wall tuned to 40 hz Batteries: 3 Kinetik 2400's in the back, Kinetik 1200 under hood.
