hyper pole is for cooling definitely order it with if you are putting more than 1000 watts on it.

universal is for recones. say you order a dual 2 ohm and get 1 amplifier now but in the future you want to get another 18 and power it off the same amp.

if you want that 1 ohm load you will have to get 2 dual 1 ohm subs.

since you already bought a dual 2 you can't get a recone for a dual 1 because the gap will be different.

IMO people typically change subs when they want a new setup so I would just stick with the non universal.

Wouldnt be thehoe92 without teh purple

Theres already a cooling option for ordering, so that means hyper pole is even more cooling?
