Mikesmith0890 Posted July 28, 2009 Report Share Posted July 28, 2009 Okay guys, I've been trying to find a way to mount some speakers in my door without have to convert them over to power (they are now manual window and manual locks) It would probably be easier to convert to power windows and place the speakers where the window crank is now, but i'd like to try to keep it (odd, I know). And i've looked at making kick panels but i like my foot room since its a manual transmission. anyway, heres my question: where my arm rest is now, would that be an okay area to fabricate a speaker pod (possibly for a 3 way set up or 2 mids) to mount the speakers to the door and the pod possibly serve as an armrest, the last part i could care less about, i never use it, but is the location for the speakers okay?
