As for running mixed subs, I know it's "shunned" but I can honestly see where it could be very useful. Also, any reason for the screws spaced every inch or less on the side of the box? Screws too close together will easily split the MDF... to answer the questions 1.its the camera angle. 2. Yes. and because they really arent playing together most of the time it doesnt matter 3. and it was because the box wasnt sealed up tight enough at those parts. and i pre drilled em so they wouldnt split. ive built a few boxes now and i learned about the spliting the hard way on the first few boxes
jzizzo57 Posted July 31, 2009 Author Report Posted July 31, 2009 A little silicon RTV and some time and you could have gotten your amps to stop rattling without putting dynamat all over them. i know that. but my friend was cool with it and we had extra so wth why not. but they are getting covered sooon by a "hood" thats going to hold in place with those neo magnets that steve used so your not going to see them anyway

jzizzo57 Posted July 31, 2009 Author Report Posted July 31, 2009 Nice 08' good to see your not scared to get your hands dirty with a virgin truck! i have a 07 myself the same style so i knew the truck inside and out beforehand and he liked my setup (2 2008 12in kicker l5s 1200 watts rms) so he asked if i could just go crazy with his... and i did. still cleaning it up and everything like the wires. but it plays and boy is it loud
