I am glad you guys are making money off of the backs of non-willing taxpayers. I know my local places are STILL sitting on the same cars and are starting to get really really pissed.

now, now. Lets not get all Rushy here. You said it was an email you got and I too got that email. That makes it a chain email and makes you fucking cranky. Your right, let a few more hundred thousand people lose there jobs. The clunkers around here are going to you-pick-it junk yards and will be sold off as parts. No one (that's right, I read the bill, BASIC READING) mandated these cars be destroyed immediately. If that were the case though, recycle plants would boom for more then a year. That means more blue collar workers, well, working.

Just like SPAIN's green program. They spent billions on Wind power. Now they discovered that for every 1 green job they made, they lost 2.5 other jobs. AND they still have to subsidize the freakin' program!

But you are right I guess.... this is totally unrelated. Basic math isn't really that basic... it is more complicated than that you see..... This green job couldn't be anything like the ones in Spain. And Obama hasnt said that we need to be more like the European countries that have the same programs he is trying to implement that have already failed over there.

You went all over the place here. I guess I will start with the articles you posted. Three speculation filled doom and gloom "maybe" scenarios written by people who, no matter what, will never side with the left. Obama could cure Herpes and they would spin it into a negative "probably".

The right is not capable of having a reasonable conversation because when I point out the fact that we still have an elected government that votes to impliment these programs that have so far not hurt the economy or turned us into the USSR, they start with the insults and tough talk.

That is why the crazy right wingers are blowing it for their side. When they pursue such an ugly, uninformed (guessing that we are trying to be like Spain, Canada, Cuba etc) disinformation campaign aimed at rallying ignorant "we hate the left any way and need talk radio to tell us what to think and be upset about" they push people who think we all need to try and stick together and find solutions not just reasons why not to like some one or something away from their candidate.

And until you show me how this program didn't spur a huge increase in sales, even after the program was over then I will call it a success.
