I have a loud exhaust, but I don't step on the pedal just to hear it roar unless there's no one around. I haven't ever gotten a ticket for anything so I dont have much knowledge in the area. The cop busts out his TL and writes a ticket based on your SPL. heh. heh. And although all of my friends I've built systems for have been ticketed, I've yet to be pulled over for it. But I don't bump in residential areas, rush hour traffic, or at stoplights. The occasional parking lot but big deal.
