themoney8 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 ok i have 4 celestions 6.5' they are 8ohm...i have a celestion in each door along with AAPEX titanium tweeter witch is 4-8 ohm impedance... so basically i have one celestion and one tweeter in each door... the amp i have is a hifonics titan Txi6408 witch gives out 4 ohms: 85 watts x 4 chan. 2 ohms: 170 watts x 4 chan. my question is how would i wire this???? and is this a good amp???? 1992Chevy K1500 Posted August 13, 2009 Report Share Posted August 13, 2009 Hifonics are some good amps (as far as I've heard). I've honestly never heard anything bad about them. Are your tweeters 4 or 8 ohms? If they are 8, you could wire the 6.5s and tweeters in parallel so the amp sees a 4 ohm load.
