Badass trunk man, what's it tuned to?

i miss my 15" L7 hooked up to my zx1500, it was too much power for the one 15" hah

right now i'm lookin to sell my CVR's and get two 12" L7's

the L7's are by far my favorite sub

Nice lookin setup, getting big boxes in trunks is always a pain :( . I still run L7's but thats just til I find a new job and can afford something better. I see your running the same older model as I am, have you had any issues with them?

nah no problems with the subs ever.. first i had a kicker sx1250.1 to each sub.. they kept hittin low voltage but sounded good tho..

so i switched to 2 zx2500.1 and so far the subs have tooken close to 3000 watts rms per pair of subs and have held up fine with out getting hot or smelling funky.. only one of the amps shorted out..

but the subs take a hell of a beating.. atleast the 15'' l7's do..

my buddy some how blew 5 12'' kicker l7 and l5 subs with his 2 kicker kx600.1's.. i think the older model 12's are defective...

4 15'' kicker L7 subs ( only 2 being used right now )

1 kicker zx2500.1 ( another soon 2 come )

box is 9.5 cubic feet slot portd thur the back seat

1 kicker zx650.4 amp powering 4 10'' ev dl10x mids ( rear deck )

1 kicker zx350.4 power 4 8'' beyma 8mi100 mid/highs ( 1 on each door )

2 runs of zero gauge wire ( about 60 feet total. )

big 3 done in zero gauge kicker wire

3 runs of 4 gauge for voice amps and eq' and crossover

2 kinetik hc1800 batteries in the trunk and 1 optima yellow top under the hood

260 amp irragi high output alternator ( soon to be 2 alt's )

alpine cda 9856 ipod headunit

kicker kx3 3 way crossover & a old school alpine 3342 digital 11 band sound field processor eq.

yeah 2 seperate boxes put in one at a time and then i put wood glue inbetween the boxes and then screwed them together and into the wooden trunk floor before i put the subs in..

just like my old setup but these boxes have 2 subs each and are ported thru the back seat and not the rear deck lid..
