cthedinger Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 (edited) well i went to connect the positive run of wire and as i started disconnecting the battery the alarm kept going off i went ahead and finished disconecting the battery then connected the positive run of wire then as i was reconecting it the battery the alarm started going off again then i tightened it all the way then waited for the alarm to go off then i tried to start the car and only the battery will go on it wont click or anything when i take the key out the alarm beeps what do i do? jmsonoma03 Posted August 17, 2009 Report Share Posted August 17, 2009 is it factory or aftermarket .if its aftermarket find the valet switch and put it in valet it should start . and it shouldnt matter if you disconnected the ground first either way the alarm lost power and needs to be reset.
