Maxxsonics-Mike
with big 3 and 2 good batteries n 0guage power n ground, batteries are 1 duralast gold 950amp front battery, stinger sp800 rear batterystock alt 70amp with big 3 1 memphis pr150.2 ran @ 2ohm stereo(2ohm stereo stable) 1 memphis pr1000.1 ran @1ohm mono(1ohm mono stable) why did my lights not dim with my pr1000 ran @2ohm and it does @ 1ohm, i kno the higher the ohm the more efficiency n what knot but cant my electrical support 1000rms? my amp does 600@4ohm, 800@2ohm, and 1000@1ohm rms @ 13.8v Not only do you have less efficiency when you run your amp at 1 Ohm rather than 2 Ohms, but now you have increased current draw on your electrical system. I'm sure that your voltage drop is greater which also means more current required by the amplifiers to make the same power as your voltage sags.
