I know the biggest thing for my buddies was that they KNEW that kicker and JL COULD get loud so why fix something thats not broke, right? Wrong, The best thing to do? Show them how to do it. When I gave a demo to my friend with two 12" CVRs in a sealed box who thought that he was the loudest MOFO around and he saw that my one 10" DC Level 4 was louder in a properly tuned box AND sounded alot cleaner he started to listen. Same goes with all the people I work with that have walmart special subs in those pre-fab boxes that they sell at walmart for like 40 bucks. The best way to change people's thought are to show them that they're wrong. You can talk about it all day but for those people that are always right, you gotta show them whats up.
