Orion HCCA 10.2 How much can they really take?

Recommended Posts

07sonata was running an aq2200 on his 12 with no smelling issues, it honestly seemed like it could take more (not some "saw a guy thing", i helped him install/wire/tune it)

these subs take a surprising amount of power, 2k to each daily wouldnt be surprising at all. every application is different but 2-2.5k apiece should be about what they can take daily.

Build: http://www.stevemeadedesigns.com/board/ind...hl=avalon+build

monster/rockford/kicker/stinger cables, pioneer source, jbl highs/amps, kinetik/shuriken batts, iraggi alt, dei security, dc subs(atleast for now)

orion subs will take some power and abuse.... my buddy runs both of his 10s at 1200RMS each and they slam... they can take more but at that power they hit hard as hell...

Full eclipse system is next on list.. soon to gut and redo the honda as new project/rolling buissness card :)

i miss the sound of those old school strokers on beast amps :(
