Posted September 21, 2009 Report Posted September 21, 2009 im new to this site and im looking to put 2 12 subs in a 2005 durango as well as changing the head unit.im looking to spend about 1200 bucks.also ive seen the mtx and rockford subs loaded are these boxes meeting the specs of the subs? im sorry if this is in the wrong place,any help would really be appreciated.

Is the HU included in the Sub/amp budget? Also a custom ported box will 95% of the time be better than the prefab company boxes, though I doubt they would make a box that sound like garbage. Also what are you looking for in a system some SQ or just some straight up boom. ¿ǝɯɐƃ ǝɥʇ Trolls never learn............ All BS aside, If I see one more comment in here that is NOT about the pre-sale, I will start the vacations. And that includes the trolls feeding the trolls. YOU THE ONE THAT SOUND LIKE A OGER AND HUMPBACK/TROLLS? Add "SMDLIFER" on Xbox LIVE to play with other SMD members.

Also what are you looking for in a system some SQ or just some straight up boom. im willing to spend more if need be for the hu but i would like something that sounds good and give me the head turning boom when i want it, I think the problem i might have is the amount of space behind the 3rd row.looking to upgrade the components later

Theres many people here that can design you a good box with cut sheets and everything. as for the head unit it depends on what you want to spend and what you want it to do. you can get a basic kenwood head unit or something for like 200 bucks and your system will sound good http://motorcitydesignsaudio.com
