eckorog2005 Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 i just purchased a jl 1000 amp today. i hooked it up as a master amp and i'm getting .3 volts from the sub output. at the same volume, i measured the slave jl 1000 amp and it was getting 5 volts from the sub output. everything measured identical. i even switched the subs to different amps and got the same results. im thinking something inside the amp is wrong but wanted to check on here first.
Mtgrooves Posted September 22, 2009 Report Posted September 22, 2009 JL doesn't support master slave configs so what do you mean master and slave do you have two of them? The Shoe Maker without shoes!
eckorog2005 Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 yea u have two. i did the master/slave by the book. the master has the rca input and the rca output runs to the rca input of the slave.
eckorog2005 Posted September 22, 2009 Author Report Posted September 22, 2009 the master rca input is connected to the head unit
