zimbabwe_dede Posted September 26, 2009 Report Posted September 26, 2009 I have a '92 Ford Explorer and just bought a 400 amp Iraggi alternator that has had the regulator removed. It came with a Transpo External Voltage regulator and i have hooked it up the way the guy explained and can't seem to get it to work. The wires from the regulator are hooked up through a relay, dunno if that affects anything. The alternator is good and i have got it to put out 20 volts but thats when i changed a few wires around and it just stays there and it won't adjust down. If someone could post a diagram or give some advice it would help lots.
