Recommended Posts

What color? I know a place, just tell me what color and I'll put up a link.

My comp setup (Not bad for what it is):

HP Compaq Presario V6120US laptop with:

15.4" widescreen

AMD Turion 64 X2 1.6GHz processor

2x1GB stick DDR2 SDRAM (667 Mhz)

Seagate Momentus 500GB SATA HDD

128MB shared video memory

Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit

12 cell Lithium Ion battery (actual battery usage time: 6 hours)

What it does:

On a USB 2.0 Wireless card

These should be almost perfect for your price range.

I personally own some of these. They are very bright and worth the extra money you might spend.

If you have never used some, I recommend this LED calc:

Very helpful. Even shows a basic wiring diagram. Just input specs and hit the button.

I'll google the specs for the LED, since the sight doesn't provide them. But I can vouch for the site. I have bought a lot from them and shipping is very fast. All of my orders arrived on time.

I am in no way affiliated with the site. I'm just telling my personal experience.

EDIT: to my above post, do not run these LEDs at more than 3 volts/20 mA. They can take it, but it's not recommended. They may have a shortened life span. They will be somewhat dimmer at 3 volts, but it will be almost unnoticeable.
