DUBIE Posted October 13, 2009 Report Share Posted October 13, 2009 ok so ditch the capacitor.... do carpeted enclosures look pretty good or is glassing the way to go?big three upgrade is replacing these cables 1. Alt output to battery positive. 2. Battery negative to chassis. 3. Chassis to engine block. you dont replace the wires. your adding bigger wires only..replacing wires is not a good idea..dont mess with the factory wiring. However, you'll need to make a few decisions before I do so: 1) How many subs are you using? 2) What size subs are they? 3) How big is your trunk (original post said W36" x D36" x H24", just making sure this is still right) 4) What direction do you want them facing? 5) What do you want this thing tuned to? From what I've gathered, it's subs and port forward. Let me know about the other couple things and I can get going a design in SketchUp. Quote wtf is lolcats? I'd def get a fat hooker if i had to resort to that kinda thing. I feel like they'd be grateful and work harder. Also its more bang for my buck, more real estate for my dollar if you catch my drift. its like the Costco of streetwalkers. I was hoping for 150 .
