bzhei
Mmmm could you flip the whole thing around and do ports on top subs lower? It's not ideal for SPL (port drivers side subs passenger side is the widely accepted optimum arrangement) but it might gain you some... yup. i still can.i'll give it a try and let you know. thanks man. bzhei
yup. i still can.i'll give it a try and let you know. thanks man. turns out stuffs break when you want to get loud..@ 154dB (47Hz) the 3-year old woofer can't take it anymore.. still playing but the cone's done for. well, since i'll have quite a downtime, i did just go and build a new enclosure. much shallower but still tuned to 38Hz. i tried playing the woofers in the new enclosure and just got a 152. could be the damaged cone, so i'm not taking any of these numbers for now. looks like it's about time to upgrade to a beefier SPL sub.
