Okay so you will have roughly 4.170 ft3 after sub and port displacement. I would suggest doubling all your walls by adding a 3/4" mdf to all walls externally if you have room. If you don't have room you'll need to shrink the internal dimensions, but assuming you do we end up with 4.17ft3. In Meade's box you have two square ports so to do two sqaure ports and tune to 38 hz they will be 2 x 13.5 x 21.

ok i understand that, but i never understand how you get how long that L-shaped piece at the back needs to be! that is the part that confuses the hell out of me

internally your box is only 19.25" deep so the yellow area would be 4 x 13.5 x 16.25. the red area would be 2 x 13.5 x 4.75.
