edog Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 I have 3-amps in my truck 1 is for my seperates in my doors ,the other two are for my subs.It plays fine until I put the rca's into the sub amps then I get engine noise.I have the seperstes amp grounded in a different spot than the sub amps ,could tha be it or could it be something else? 2001 Southern Comfort Suburban sittin on 26"s Eclipse 6620 double din head unit (2004 dash mod) 4-AQ 3500D amps @1 ohm 8-Cadence 6.5 midbass 4- in each door. Guest Posted October 24, 2009 Report Posted October 24, 2009 make sure the ground is bolted to straight metal and not paint. try grounding your RCA's also.
