S10 Reg Cab build...

Alright, my buddy has an s10 he just bought... wants so bass so i told him i'd be up to the task. Took some measurements, with his seat back and whatnot, he has about 8-9 inches in depth to work with, 30 inches in width, and i'm trying to fit a RF shallow mount P3 so I'm strapped with about 14 in height. 3/4ths inch thick MDF. I did a few calculations using the 12 volt's box calc, and came up with about 1.5 cubes in a sealed box. Any way that i can fit a ported one? If so, how?

Any brighter ideas? Money isnt really the issue here but i'd like to avoid spending 100.00 on fiberglass to make a fiberglass backing if you're going to suggest it.
