I got a 80 amp fuse on my power wire now on my old system and getting ready to install a fi bl 12" and audioque 1200d which as three 40 amp fuses and this guy tried to tell me my fuse on my power wire would work i have now idk i thought i would atleast have to have a 100? is this guy right or do i need a bigger one?

Setup:

Headunit: 7" indash screen

Sub: fi bl 12

Amp: Audioque 1200D

Box Ported tuned to 34hz

Big 3 done in 1/0 gauge

use 4 gauge wiring and a 120amp fuse.

i got 5 gauge thats what it says on the wire? i can buy 4 gauge it aint no big deal but i cant even find on the net they even have 5 gauge anymore it looks similar to 4 gauge from what i see on here

knukonceptz has some beast wire for the price. they come with fuses and fuse blocks, etc etc all the stuff you need.

i think i should just go with 4 gauge wireing and 100 amp fuse and if it blows it go with 120amp fuse thats what i was told on here awhile ago but i just wanted to see what ppl would say bout that guy saying i could use the 80 amp fuse

if you need to buy some wire, just go 0 and save yourself some money in the future if you plan on upgrading
